i am done with this module. the subjects i have for the past 3 months was rather dry as compared to previous module. gonna pack and off a short trip. hope it will be interesting. and i wonder will i make it back in time for the redbull gala.

orh.. did i forget to mention, i got in a redbull competition? i made a ship out of the cans together with Jade. an exhibition will take place from 3 July - 11 July at the brand new Scape building beside Orchard Cineleisure, Art Gallery on level 5.

i was trying to update my reads list on this blog. deleting those friends who have abandon their online space, adding new blogs from friends that blog actively. then i came upon tonkao blog, there's a picture of Lian Hien in one of her post. i could recall that was taken last friday when we visited ann siang hill. and somewhat it seems to me that the trip just happened this evening. weird, but this is not the sole case that i felt this way. i guess when time catches up with one, especially for people around my age. one year is equivalent to maybe for say, 6 months, everything suddenly just become contracted. hmm.. i really have to deeply cherish every moment i have.

side note, i received an email from redbull, saying my artwork was selected for exhibition this coming july at the new *scape building in orchard. feeling happy? sure, i am. but when i thought of the standard of the submitted work, i was quite dis-satisfied. i had less than 48 hours to complete it. there is so much space for improvement. however there will be a public voting, winner with the most votes walks away with a canon camera. so i will put up more details over here soon, hopes everyone could cast a vote for my work and i will have that canon camera to snap more pictures. =)

the other day, i passed by tanjong pagar train station.. and i felt in love with the architecture.. so gonna go back there to take more shoots before it relocate next july.

hmm.. i am just done with the proposal for the school cohesion day. this cohesion planning thingy has been dragging for a long time since i could last recall. i realized no one basically bothered to put anything that was being discussed into black and white. everyone just talk and forget when the next meeting comes about. no proper documentation, no proper system hierarchy, no proper communication and for the worst, certain position bearers does not live up to position assigned. its real awful to see such a situation. i guess many in this committee does not put their priority here. and i highly suspect some are in for the fun and not work. as for now, i will have to continue this one-man show with tonkao. wish me good health.

for school projects, i am really far behind the peers. actually i had a good head start, but the committee thingy is bothering me, and got my attention diverted. i have to steer my focus back else the repeatedly cases of mad rushing at submission will occur.

i need to bark at myself whenever i talk about this. i am so lazy to get back my fitness. bearing in mind IPPT is approaching in about 4 months time, i have to start training. jog, swim and maybe squash.

and its true that being a student is one of the poorest period of your life. i need a part-time job.

sometimes, it get onto my nerves when people are just relying on others too much.
so when one decided not to go, the others are not going too.

i am super sleepy today.. no idea why.. maybe its the weather.. maybe it the body..

left with barely a week till presentation. my progress is still dead slow. some of my schoolmates are heading to Japan this friday. i opted out. the trip is totally not useful at all. further more, the trip 'eat' into the school term of this module, making those going have to submit their projects earlier by a week. school management is getting from bad to worse.

i was roped into the student committee. my one week break will be spend on preparing the upcoming orientation.

presented our works to the lecturer. negative feedback. its bad. i should quit slacking.

this evening, i went for a simple dinner with michael at fish&co express. we carried on with a walk at pasir ris park. night stroll along the beach, accompanied by the breezy wind. it was superb. we also played on the swings. its was my favourite item at the playground.

i really enjoyed the evening. =)

the annual most important festive in the Chinese Lunar calendar is gonna take place later. while i am so shagged by all the late night shopping yesterday. i am still not done with packing. =(
the following days are going to be messy and hectic. the 'bai nians' & travelings. although school will be out for a week, but the projects are stalking me. sounds sad right?
and now, i feel like hitting the bed for another nap.

instead of the usual chicken rice, yanti or prawn noodles. we took a different route today. we went to maxwell fc for break. i was so glad there ain't much crowd. while on our way back to school, there is a huge bazaar along neil road. we wanted to take a group picture with the pots of colourful flowers but it was tough to get a good self-shoot using iphone. a caucasian lady saw that and invitingly volunteered to help us with the shoot. after the shoot, as we walked along the road, the four of us agreed on the point that if it was a fellow asian who was there, he/she will probably take a few glances at what we were doing and never offer the help. guess one distinctive characteristic of 'ang mo' and asian, is that we, asian are a 'self-fish' breed.

SOMEONE STOLE THE CASH INSIDE MY WALLET IN CLASS THIS AFTERNOON!!!

till now as i am typing this entry, i still cannot believe that one of my classmates is a thief. its such a horrible thing. the incident goes like this...

its competition class today, so all the senior modules students are placed in the same class to work on the project. and the turnout of the class is huge, like 20+. i brought a laptop sleeve with external pockets to school. i went for break with kit at char siew place. while paying, i noticed theres at least 30-40bucks and merely took out 4 bucks to settle the bill. i got back to class, left my wallet on top of my iphone which is charging thru the usb cable beside my macbook. fishy was using it to surf the net looking for the new ipad and i stood beside to kpo. emah, kit, sayi were around us during that time. i went off to copy notes from jessie at the other corner while my wallet was still lying there. till after school, i went to plaza singapura for dinner and as i was wanting to pay my meal, i was greeted with an empty wallet!! my cards were all intact in the wallet but not the cash. i was shocked! i tried very hard to recall whether did i spend that money or did i dropped it somewhere. eventually, i came to the conclusion, it must have been stolen in class after the break when i left the wallet on top of my iphone.

i posted about this incident on my status on facebook and fellow classmates shared that this ain't the first time such case has happened.

i always thought school is a safe place to leave ur belonging around. but i was wrong.

i am utterly disappointed by the fact that someone in school is a thief, a pickpocket to be exact. and a high possibility its a fellow classmate. boom lost her ipod touch in the very same classroom few months ago and it was never retrieve back. CCTV was installed in the classroom but it happened to be not in operation at that time. and i am quite certain it was not turned on today again. i probably have to speak to daniel on this. also, i am amazed by how swift the thief has gotten his/her way, as my wallet was placed in such an open area. and there were also my cards in the notes compartment which will causes some hinder when remove the notes.

in summary, lesson learnt, its never safe to leave ur valuables/belongings lying around in school. and there is definitely a thief out there. as i am even poorer now, only ask me out if u intend to foot the bill. else.. wait till i get the 'moolah' to spend. =(

hello people!!

i have been missing out on my blog for exactly a month. to sum things up for the past month, it was simply messy. even till today, things are still in a huge mess. haha.. but i still wanna thanks those who drop-by here to check out on my updates. love ya guys. anyway, i am left with 2 days to my presentation. and TADAH~ module 2 is done! scary isn't it? time was moving uber fast during these 3 months. i missed out on building friendships with the new students.. forging closer ties with my batch-mates. and somewhat, i have to put hold on countless appointments with my friends & family. guess school is taking up a huge chunk of my life. and sadly, i received my timetable for next term, realizing the fashion, graphics & multimedia electives are taking place! which also means i would not get to see friends like, eunice, rebecca, kit, lauren, kersna & sayi in class anymore. that's sad. =(

well, actually i should not be here typing these. i have yet to finish my projects!! gonna get back to work. i will be back here regularly. i hope~

a short conversation thru msn.. i could clearly read something bad is gonna come along the way.. my moody self immediately jump out and occupied my being, without even asking for my mind consent.. the head start to spin.. and that spell the start of a massive headache.. so basically, my day is 'destroyed'..

am on the path of life learning. and perhaps self-searching too.

i have not been putting much efforts in school. and the deadlines are approaching. how sweet uh?

i have to stay focus.

more than often when there are goals set ahead. somewhat along the way, there will be some things out there distracting me. blamed on my span of "ill-concentration".

speaking from my past experiences, not once but twice when i was starting a new life chapter, distraction came along. and that was the most "wonderful" thing that could ever happened on me.

it was like going on an outfield trip, the navigator was tasked to get across a terrain to the destination. but along the way, the navigator spotted a beautiful reindeer, and decided to chase after it. yet, he dropped his compass without realizing. the reindeer noticed the navigator was following, got alarmed and ran away. in the end, the navigator still has to find the way to destination, without the compass. well perhaps he might still has the map with him.

but have u ever wonder, what if the reindeer is not alarmed by the action of the navigator? what if the reindeer can get along with the navigator, and eventually lead the navigator to the destination? or maybe right from the start, the navigator should just be focus on getting to the destination.

hmm.. i am rather passive in making emotional decisions. but how come when i always buck up the courage, it has to turn out sour.

this moment i think i understand what is going on, but on the next, i am clueless about what is happening.

i dislike uncertainty. i lack of confidence. i need the shoulder. and do i have a problem in expressing myself?

together with my team, GLAKE, we clinched the 1st runner-up in the Heeren Young Designer Awards 2009.
3 weeks of sweat and hard work.
its not an easy task for a group of students who just started the course for less than 2 months.
especially looking at the different country backgrounds, age gaps, life experiences, etc, which the 5 of us came from. critically not having any formal education to both design and fashion. its amazing that we managed to come this far.
while as the team leader, i did and tried my very best to keep things moving.
from being unknowingly assigned as the leader to a team whereby the members are not interested to participate. to reorganizing a new team from scratch and embracing the different in opinions.
so for those who has doubts or negative comments. save it. u have no idea to what me and my team had been thru.
and special thanks to family, friends and schoolmates for the help, support and coming down on the various days to cheer for us.
its great to see familiar faces in the crowds.
not forgetting Farah who gave us so much advices and guidance. with her, it seriously poke me to consider switching to fashion design.
and also Tim, for the brilliant idea on the ads.
new friends were made along the competition.
experiences gained. lessons learnt.

i am pure lazy.. i slept thru more than half of my sunday. what a waste of time. but i cun be blame entirely, the weather was such awesome that i just cun resist to get more rest on my comfy bed. =p

it will be a new start for me today. and i feel such awful when JY told me that i actually agitated him on friday. i guess i am still not good at handling my inner-self. i do admire him for being mentally-strong. although i might seems to be tough on the 'outside', but its not the same inside me.

anyway, i was surprised to see this cutie at the green near my house the other day.

i was thrilled for the rest of that day.

its 5.15am.

i looked out of the window, into the dark sky. an unusual big and bright star immediately caught my attention. its the only visible object in the darkness. somewhat, i could feel the loneliness of that star. perhaps its another of those lousy feeling which comes by every now and then in the middle of the wee hours.

the theme song of 双子星 is running thru inside my mind. i managed to catch the final episode on mobtv select, which is 2 days ahead of the normal telecast. am not gonna be a spoiler. all i would say is the last scene in the show, is something that i need all these years. watch it yourself should u are interested to know the ending.

lastly, there are so much things that has happened which i want to share over here. but first, let me get the pictures fix and upload. shall get some sleep and continue later. good ~~morning~~night people!

the first piece of news that greeted me when i went online today, "Death of Michael Jackson".

honestly speaking, i don't really adores his weirdo behaviour in his last years. but still his music and dance moves certainly are irreplaceable in the entertainment industry. i vividly remembered Mediacorp once did an exclusive screening of his then-latest music video on Channel 5. i was glued to the tv. his dance moves was so awesome. well, although he is gone, the impact he created in our lives will still goes on.

p/s: its also a pity that his up-coming concert next month is never gonna stage.

finally i get a day to bask in the sunshine, although the weather was more of semi-cloudy most of the time. i went cycling at Pasir Ris Park with xueying. since i didn't have a bag with me, thus no camera. ended up, i have to go around snapping with her white viewty.

keith virgin trip to JB! super funny lah. he always thought that travelling to JB = robbery. like its super unsafe to walk along the street, robbers/snatch-theives are all around. hahahahaha... i have to reassured him million times that its not the case. if the robber decide to target u, most likely LL u will kana rob. ofcos, nobody will want to be rob lah. so to me, it really boil down to "heng/suay". also, don't be too flashy when u are outside, this also applies when u are in Singapore too.

Pizza Hut never fails to remind me of the secondary school days. nono, i didn't have pizza after school during those days, i was a poor student back then, even now, i am still one. it just that the ambience and patrons make me feel like i am a secondary student once again. haha.. ignore what i am saying if u don't get it.

am still feeling sickish.

the other day, yovia is darn nice to bring along a bottle of cough syrup and lozenges when we met.(thanks girl!) ought to have accompany her to Club 21 bazaar, yet she told me she actually went to the preview the day before. if i have knew that earlier, i would have stay at home le. haha. anyway, i brought her to a movie at Sinema. the title was Lucky7. i personally don't like the way how they 'join-up' the 7 segments into one movie.

the horrible breakfast at Subway. the crew gave me the wrong bread and sauce.
WTH.

please remember this cough syrup. its the main cause of why i was hyper when i meet jingyi later that night at butter factory. asdfg.

i cannot believe that i am falling sick. the cough is killing me slowly. the itch in my throat does not make me feel any better. i sensed that flu is gonna come next. no fever please, no fever..

i should practice self-medication for the time being. totally dislike the 'mess' at clinics, especially when there are now 4 confirmed cases in Singapore. don't worry, i didn't travel to states. and i have never been there anyway.

maybe i will have to cancel the appointments over the next few days. to prevent spreading the germs and to gain more rest.

tell me, who does not like the meatballs from Ikea?(minus those who cun take beef.) the heavenly meatballs are simply just irresistible!! also, the fried chicken wings cannot be missed when you are at Ikea restaurant. too bad, my tummy was so full, have to skip the sinful chocolate mousse.

had a good chat with jeanine that day. all the bitching about her awful experience with the telcom, photo shoot, ideal man, etc.. as our acquaintance links all the way back to the CLDDS days. i wonder how are the teachers and fellow mates have been doing all these while. especially ms tan nan sze, mdm fong.

孙燕姿2009世界巡回演唱会-台北



张叔平 is great! i am amazed by the concert costumes. this concert showcased the versatile & different side of yanzi. while the stage and 3D effects are totally cool. the dance which was jointly performed with Jolin, yet, reflected her short-coming in dancing. but at least we sensed that she did tried and gave her best. also, the duet with Jolin was fun. the new song, having the first verse, "爱是愚人的国度...", hahaha.. its still a very 'yanzi-style' song. =)

i think i am in love with the sun. muahaha.. the trip to Ubin last month was fabulous. and i got a souvenir.....tan line of the watch that i was wearing that day. haha.. too bad i didn't snap a picture of tan line and it has faded now.

hmm... actually before i started to write this post. i got a few other things in mind that i wanted to blog about. but, a phone call from aczl, make me decided to drop the subjects to another time. apparently, this good buddy of mine is going thru the 'unlucky' period. i quoted his words,

the hot & humid weather still persist. it's horrible.

i had been walking/travelling alot for the past couple of days. my feet are complaining now.

i made a wrong decision during noon. and i so hate myself to be committing such mistake.

i also had a hair cut today. it turned out to be a nasty one.

but not everything sounds that bad. at least i got Dunkin's donuts. gonna eat them later the morning.

i was out the whole day, like literally, the WHOLE day.

friends text-ed me, saying today's weather is darn hot & humid.

since i was already outside, to be more precise, cycling at Pulau Ubin. i can't relate to the fore-mentioned weather as i was sweating whilst conquering those uneven grounds and never-ending slopes which lead to Chek Jawa.

but the scenario is completely different when i was at VivoCity during the evening. the moment i made the exit via the sliding glass door, out of the 'air-conditioned comfort zone', heading towards the sky park on the roof deck. gosh, i felt i was inside the sauna! to make things worse, the gentle night breeze is actually blowing warm air onto my checks.
argh..

i am sleeping tonight in singlet. something which i normally don't.
