no food..

read an article in sunday times regards to the closure of phoenix hotel at orchard. the main point was the writer saying the hotel cafe serve great local food and since 1st august(which is today) would be the last day, i was hoping to give it a try. so together with derrick, we went down to town around 7pm.

the damn hotel was closed!!!

i thought i wasted my trip to town. but yet, i found a new eating place behind centerpoint. actually its beside starhub centre. a row of eateries in peranakan shophouses.


and i bumped into jude lou! my very 1st platoon sergeant in my ns ops' stink.


he still look pretty much the same, maybe seem to grow taller. delayed puberty?


and did i mention that derrick has this HUGE garfield in his living room.


how i wish i could have one in my house.
