i was kinda taken back when i saw the price of vanilla cone' aka 'ice-cream cone' at macdonald was raised to 60cents!!
i could not figure why macdonald is imposing the increment only on 'ice-cream cone' and not on sundae or mcflurry... and the additional 10cents is equivalent to a hefty 20% increment! which is way too much to justify for the recent adjustment of 7% GST.
well, i guess its no useless grumbling here as most people out there will think, "hey, its just 10cents more what!" but still, the next time when i feel like having an ice-cream cone, i simply got to search through my pocket to dig for the additional 10cents coin.
