cast the down luck of my desktop monitor aside.. having the chance to use my sister's lappie is not such a bad experience, just have to make with the smaller screen(14.1' compared to 19'). the hunt for new monitor shall not kick off until dell reply me whether if i could get any repair under the warranty period.

and the 'Full Mobile Number Portability' solution is finally here!

to give a brief introduction..

for example, when your mobile line contract with Orange Sunshine Teleco is over, and you wish to 'jump ship' to Red Umbrella Teleco, you have to change to a new mobile number. And doing so, you need to go thru the trouble of informing your friends that you only be reachable at the new number after the switch. and whoever call your old line will be greeted by an automated voice, indicating the number is not longer in use.

but from 13 june onwards..

you NEED NOT to face such situation anymore! you can simply switch from one mobile service provider to another without the need of changing your number.

i been waiting desperately for the service since i made my 1st change of service provider way back in the early 2000s.

and talking about mobile.. i was clearing my collection of mobile phone brochures.. yupz.. i have this weird habit of collecting those brochures..









there are still many more in my collection.. but i have decided to dump them.. as its taking up too much space in my room.. and of cos i will recycle them.. after all those brochures are made of paper.. its always wise to practice the 3Rs we learn in school, Reduce, Recycle & Reuse!
