i always get excited about festivals, because either there will be public holiday or i will have the chance to gather with my extended family. over the past weekend, i was at malaysia for a joint-celebrations! 1st for 'dumpling festival' and next was to celebrate aunt june birthday!

the strong contingent of 8 sisters! although 1 was missing in action.
the following day was the 'dumpling festival'. i woke up real early to slurp on the yummy-licous green wraps!
all these dumplings were 100% homemade. they were wrapped by my grand-aunt. and she is already in her 80s! amazing right!
we set off to the temple to offer prayer to my late uncles and ancestors.
ok, i am against of burning paper offerings, but its a tradition to do so over here. so i just have to follow. =X
he is the star in our family! very adorable boy.

it has very interesting characters.
