WHO?
Royston Chan!
the 5 of us meet for dinner before he fly on the eve of 'chu xi'. i introduce them to this 'zhu chao', after reading the review on ieatishootipost.
enough of cam-whoring.
its MAKAN time!!
Marmite Pork.
remember the marmite that goes with plain porridge which most of us eaten when were young. the chef cleverly create a fusion with marmite and lean pork, and here we got this yummy dish.
rated a 4 out of 5.
Sambal Kangkong.
nothing surprising, i would have prefer it to be more spicy.
3 out of 5.
Pumpkin Prawns.
the pumpkin sauce is the highlight of this dish. i could fill my plate of rice with this yellowish sauce. hehe.. the prawns are deep fried and smothered in a thick pumpkin sauce.
4.5 out of 5.
Crispy Pork Knuckle.
supposedly to be the 'gem dish'. somewhat, we felt it was overly done. not crispy, but more of 'chao ta'(burnt).
2.5 out of 5.
we also have this special beancurd dish. but i was too busy munching the food, so no photo of that beancurd.
look!! the pumpkin prawn is the first to be wipe out. and try spot the beancurd dish if u can.
*hint: its beside louis plate. haha..
junyuan brought us to zion riverside hawker.
the cheng tng is a must try!!!
and i bumped into kevin tan.
tell me how small can Singapore be.
actually we wanted to eat ice cream at Valley Point. but when we reached there, it was closed. with starbucks being the only cafe open, we have to settle with coffee.
royston doing a speech on his internship.
p/s: i am still waiting for royston to remove the busy status in msn and send me the rest of the photos taken that night before he hop on the plane.
so royston, if you are reading this, I WANT THE PHOTOS!!!
and suddenly everyone attention is on touch screen gadgets.
louis figuring how to log on to wireless on samsung omnia.
junyuan hoping to break his record on some mind game installed in ipod touch.
we presented a photo frame and farewell card to the soon-to-be-Danish boy.
royston and junyuan busy comparing how they look like a year ago in the photo.
and to reassure royston once again, we didn't take that picture infront of any water fountain, it was at the overhead bridge in chinatown.
lastly, i did what i always like to, cam-whore.
