summing LNY 2009..

today is the last day of Lunar New Year, also known as 元宵. to celebrate the occasion, the Chinese like to make 'tang yuan'. i have my fair share of the yummy flour balls too.

to sum this Lunar New Year, i have compiled some photos. here we go.

i was at Kulang, my mum's hometown.

remember i was talking about this chendol a few post earlier. and its now revealed! the stall is located near the old Kulang bus terminal(u got to have a very good memory of the location cause the new terminal is already being built more than 10 years ago! that's show how delicious the chendol is that it could survive without the bustling crowd from the terminal.)

the stall is probably serving the best chendol in the world!!

i heart this holy green dessert ever since i was young.
it tasted sosososososososososososososososo GOODDDDDDD!!!!!

the Ong house is always crowded with people during festive, especially Lunar New Year. everyone will come back for different places and get together. somewhat, i find the Ong house is like the summer palace. haha. just that it lack of a pool and a real nice garden.

kids always have fun playing together.
i am a kid too. but i didn't join in. i was having a very bad flu.

ignore my eye bags. i was sick and not sleeping good the previous night didn't help.

can u believe aidong is already a father of a 3 years old boy? he is of the same age as me lah.

night's out time!!

we headed to the bowling alley. ok, we were given only 1 lane due to the huge crowd. and limited pairs of bowling shoes, which explains why there is a pair of Crocs Prima inside this photo.

we sang KTV too.
yet again, we were given a small room. =(
i had to sit on the coffee table.

the night was rounded up with supper.
the uncle simply forgotten my prata order, so i went back home with an empty stomach. how nice.

the following morning, i accompanied mum and aunt june to the local market. imagine the wet market is open on the 2nd day of Lunar New Year. how wonderful right? you don't even need to stock your fridge with all the meats and vegies.

the dinning table was filled with different kind of breakfast we bought at the market.

and this is heavenly good.
i know its super unhealthy but once a year mah.

the other day, i was at river angbao 2009. this year, its staged on the Marina floating platform.

kids spotted during the red festive.

till next year. ciao.
