blackout..
i was disturbed by my sister in the wee morning..
she told me all electrical appliances not working..
indeed..
fans were not running..
lights along corridor were down..
conclusion?
a suspected blackout..
the search for the torchlight began..
lucky i knew where i kept my torchlight..
got it in less then a minute..
but the search for relevant phone numbers to call for help..
took me quite some time..
ended up..
i ran to the lift lobby to look for the emergency number..

ok..
confirm was a power failure that swap across my whole block..
here comes the question..
i seem to be the only idiot who was bothered by the blackout..
while all my neighbours just continue their sleep in fan-less or aircon-less condition..
puzzled me..
and things back to normal about 45minutes later..
lesson learnt..
1.
prepared workable torchlights or candles at home..
keep them in accessible places..
its very useful..
don't be lazy and just rely on the light emitted by your mobile phone..
trust me..
2.
get yourself a list of important numbers..
especially numbers that can help u in an emergency..
pasted it at an obvious location..
preferably on the fridge door..
this will save you lots of time from fanatically looking for numbers to seek help..
3.
buy a first-aid kit..
ensure you have the basic first-aid tools inside..
just in case anyone get injured in the dark..
also to pay extra attention to the expiry dates of the kit..
4.
placed your important documentations and valuable close together..
in case of fire or in need to evacuate from your house..
you can easily grab them along the way..
and run for your dear life..
don't be contented..
simply you will never know when it will happened..
