for the past few days, these two songs just kept circling in my mind.

永远的快乐 and 一眼瞬间.

from the new album, "STAR", by the powerhouse, amei aka 张惠妹.

especially the later title, i can imagine she doing the duet with 萧敬腾(the famous contestant from taiwan tv singing competition) on stage. but sadly, i got to agree with i-weekly music review, both of them were displaying more 'technique' rather than delivering a more emotional piece.

永远的快乐 is an upbeat yet disco feeling song, reassemble the late-90s hit, macarena. i love the lyrics, "永远永远的快乐, 永远永远的快乐...", loosely translated as "forever forever happiness".

the tune of jay chow's production, 如果你也听说, sound so similar to his latest hit, 不能说的秘密, which also an ost track from his same-titled movie. amei's performance for such slow ballad songs seem to be better than her fast-beat tracks nowadays.

well, that's all i got at the moment, i am waiting for derrick to pass me the whole album.

still, i would prefer her last album, 我要快乐?. which gives me the feel of "modern city-coldness". well, provided you get what i am trying to say here. ha~
