its 2008!

i am soooo late.

its already 2008.

but, still let me wish all who read my blog, a wonderful 2008 ahead!

so much to recap for the past year. and not forgetting all the photos which i still yet to manage to upload.

year 2007 has been... . . .

.. . . a red-white year for me. why do i say so? simply because red=wedding, white=funeral. and to sum up, i have attended 4 weddings, 3 wakes. a whopping record of 7 red-white in just a single year, never in my last 22 years. kinda scary!

.. . . a new lease of life. as i ord from national service, which means i had officially regain to civilian status as on 10 march. 2 years of ns indeed make me a better person. i learnt so many valuable lessons, handling firearms, realising my personal limits, interacting with people from different levels of life. the bottom line is, for those who yet to go thru ns, please don't think u gonna waste the 2 years. trust me u wouldn't, in return will learn something which u never expect in life.

and while getting back to society, i am very familiarize with cbd area due to my current working location. adapting the 9-5 office environment and culture. so that's the 'real' world. ha.

.. . . fill with buddies activities. i am so glad that i get to know my ssc8 buddies, which i also magically manage to bond extremely well. i had so much fun with them. not forgetting AF, although we didn't get to travel or celebrate our anniversary & birthdays. we still had so much joy during our annual Christmas celebration. also, i re-gathered with my secondary school friends.

there are still so much to share, but i guess its getting a little boring, thus i shall highlight the more significant ones..

January - both my cousin lawrence & cousin xi ni wedding. so much hype in the Tan family.

February - my strike mates 1st lunar new year gathering at louis place. and i extracted my wisdom tooth! ouch~

March - ord-ed & got back my pink i/c. my buddy alex birthday at tiong bahru shop house, which was a very crazy night, i got wasted too! another good mate royston 21st birthday party at the settler cafe.

June - started my new job as admin assistant.

July - my sph kakis emily wedding. this pretty girl look damn gorgeous that night!

August - a trip down the memory lane. my mum & me went back to our 1st house at jalan besar. rekindle all my sweet childhood memories.

September - AF workout day at ecp. so much sweat & laughter. ;p

October - reunion of my secondary school friends. my buddy keith 21st birthday celebration. my own 'rainy' birthday party at costa pasir ris. :)

December - my company 'international theme' d&d at novotel clarke quay. the AF annual Christmas celebration. my cousin weikang wedding at malacca. also, the recent Christmas eve & new year eve with my ssc8 buddies.

yupyup.. kinda long-winded, but it did make me smile when i am recalling all the events which took place for the past 2007. anyway, i do hope 2008 will be a better year for myself & all people out there! cheers!

and i promise to put up those super duper uber nice photos on my next post. =)


p/s: lunar new year is just a month away. which means there will be more gatherings & hongbaos!!
