as promised.
here are the photos.
i was the 'tour guide' for this trip. the rest hardly visit Malaysia. reason being, they have heard stories of how dangerous it was to travel in JB. so i have this HUGE responsibility, not only to ensure their safety, but also to clear their doubts on the security in JB. i was glad everyone was not very late. and no one fly me plane.
for those people reading my blog and wanting to travel across the causeway to enjoy the shopping and cheap seafood, u can take my trip as a reference too. =)

to get across the causeway, we took SMRT bus950 at woodlands interchange. its a short 10minutes journey and best of all, we can pay the bus fare using ezlink. very convenient!
we got thru Singapore customs without much effort. thanks to the new bio-metric clearance system. but to clear the Malaysia customs, it turned out to be a nightmare. we spend almost an hour to get our passports 'chopped' with the entry stamp.
what's best to do while waiting? cam-whoring!

the weather was hot. we immediately seek shelter at the nearest shopping mall, City Square. this mall is quite identical to many shopping malls u can find in Singapore.
its was lunch time so we feasted at Secret Recipe. to those who didn't know, Secret Recipe is actually founded in Malaysia. they have yummy cakes!

i have no idea they took this series of photos with my shades. i was away doing something. nevertheless, they look stupid cute!

the food was generally ok. next up, we window-shopped in the mall. sad to mention, nothing fantastic. although i did bought a shirt. haha. i can't resist in spending money.

we break into two groups and took two cabs to another shopping mall, Tebrau City. this mall is much more up-scale and very Singaporean you can find CK jeans, Topman, even Breadtalk too! the prices mah, not anywhere cheaper than in Singapore.
noticed the change in our hairstyle? daniel, kinnard and me went on a gamble at Jantzen salon. alex told us he did his hair with them years ago, and the result was bad. so what's your say on our new hair cut?

next stop, we wanted to have dinner at taman sentosa. NOT the sentosa in Singapore. its a town nearby the causeway where many Singaporeans come by to have cheap seafood and to get rob by drug addicts. haha... somehow somewhat, we were ended up walking for about 800m after alighting the cab. i recall someone mentioning, 'we should not have argue for the cab price!' yesh, in JB, u board a cab by quoting an amount, even though there were meters fixed inside the cab.

this photo is interesting. i was snapping xuanyi drinking her sugar crane. suddenly this man stood behind her, flashing a pile of pirated dvds. piracy business is so OPEN.

believe it or not, this is my virgin taste of crayfish. the feeling was... nothing. i think crabs are the best!
its time to go home. and we brought back these delicious!

nono.. not lawrence's butt. but the heavenly cakes!
the no.1 donut! Dunkin' Donuts
last picture. we had fun! goodbye JB!
