this entry comes almost a month late.


my 23rd birthday.

while i might be just stepping into my mid-20s, i could feel that i am aging already! i really have to take good care of my health, many commented that i have lost weight.

so right now, i am eating like a pig!

celebration with AF.


reuben and i always get to celebrate our birthday together.
but he is a libra while i am a scorpio. haha..


the dining venue was at Zhou's Kitchen at the Copperdome. its located beside Anchorpoint, or rather directly opposite IKEA Alexandra.






we had dim sum buffet!!





we loitered inside Anchorpoint after the meal.



next up, we headed over to Clarke Quay for dessert.

its my second visit, and i totally heart their cakes!



before i get to eat my 'heavenly' cake. xueying gave me & reuben a 'surprise' by presenting to us the cartoonish hand-drawn birthday cards! haha. as normally, i was the one who sprung people with surprise, so i didn't expect a card coming the way. thanks ger!

lunch was at Sushi Tei.




i am sure royston will kill me for posting up this unglam photo of his. muahaha..

we also had cakes and pastries at Canele.





and since its under Le Amis group, i was expecting something good from them. yet, DISAPPOINTMENT was what spelt across my face when the dessert was served. it seems like a common problem when a particular establish venture out and set up branches, their food standard dropped. and unfortunately, Canele is in such a situation.

i heart my family! i cut the cake at the struck of midnight on the actual day. the birthday cake is from Esprit cafe, manned by the Aromas group. their chocolate praline recommend by the staff is superb!




instead of paper carton box, Aromas uses metal box to contain the cake.
that's what i call unique-ness.

i set aside the actual day for my clique. i treated them to TCC. and thanks to keith for reminding me while he was on the way, why does it always have to rain on my birthday?

i have to admit. actually, me and alex are in love.



whenever i walk along the corridor of Raffles Hotel, i will pass by this american theme restaurant. finally i get to try their food today.

oh, the name of the restaurant is Seah Street Deli.

this juke box was spotted standing at one corner of the restaurant. seldom we get to see juke box lying around in Singapore. the last one i saw was at the engineering canteen in TP.



their food was average only. too much of deep-fry as its american style, but the serving is huge. the only dish worth mentioning is the Queen's burger that augustus had.



u really have to love food to be in my league of friends.

next up, mango ice at liang seah street.




we went to this secret place.

can't tell u where its was. but we were all thrill over the soccer table.
