PULAU UBIN
i was at the island during the start of the year. nothing much have change since my last visit. perhaps nothing was change at all. but i do realised something on this trip, the islanders were indeed very friendly. especially the lady boss at the bicycle shop!!
maybe because its a weekday.

'Papa Charlie Golf'[PCG] intercepted our bumboat.

never so up close see this vessel before.
previously, only see them smallsmall in size at whiskey tower during ns.
i think they suspecting mas selamat on board our boat.
the first signboard u will see on the island..
if u miss it..
better go check your eye-sight!
the lady boss was so nice.
she taught junyuan how to cycle and even charge us a cheaper rate!
royston got me in a weird angle.
i love this roadside plant during primary school.
i will purposely go over them and their leaves will close up.
i swam before in the lagoon when i was participating in OBS.
think of it now, it was such a cool experience!
many durian shells were scattered along this path we rode.
there were a few up-slopes that were quite steep.
we had to push our bicycles..
there was this little bridge with rushing river..
chek jawa!!
something afar on the right horizon line caught our eyes..
hello recruits~
i was cam-whoring..
so we had to place the camera on the edge of the tower to take this.
if you did notice, we came to ubin in four but how come only the three of us in group photo?
that's because junyuan went back to mainland after he failed to master cycling.
wtf? we were uber disappointed.
my disappointment was twice of everyone.
i also missed chek jawa due to high tide during my last visit.
we were only allow to take a few photos at the entrance of the boardwalk.
i was having a hard time 'digging the meat'.
i hate coconuts!
the red clouds lasted only for a few minutes.
luckily, i managed to capture before it disappeared.
we took a lot more photos at the rocks before catching the boat. but i am not going to put up here. too unglam. haha..
after coming back to singapore, we hailed a cab to marina square to meet up with alex & xuanyi. if i knew earlier that alex was not alone, i would have took a bus instead. the 3 of us were so awkward as we were smelly and not dressing right.
we bought a bottle of red wine and sat along esplanade waterfront.
there were some walls which allow public to pen their thoughts.
so we wrote this..
