my heart sunk when i read this piece of news in the chinese daily, shin min.
i made an effort to scan the newspaper articles.
for those who don't understand chinese. this little boy aged 15 commit suicide. he was labelled as 'beggar boy' in the article as he often beg for food at coffee shops nearby his house. according to reports, he quited school a few years back due to financial difficulties. also, he was spotted with long hair as he can't afford to trim it.... somewhat, he ended his short 15 years of life.
to think of..
if he were to grow up in a better environment?
if attention was given to him & his family earlier, will this tragic happen?
too much assumptions i can come up with.
