机会

i was curious on the 'jack neo-danny yeo' incident. so i log on to omy.sg to read the danny's blog. unintentionally, i clicked on derrick ho's blog instead. and i stumbled on this,

“机会是人家给的
可是当人家给你机会的时候
你因该早就准备好了才行”

for those who don't understand chinese, loosely translate as "opportunities are given by others. so when the opportunity comes knocking on your door, u must have already be prepared."

it sounds very true. perhaps, too true.

i have experienced that situation before. have you?
